Brief Description of the Course | The course aims to train the candidate in following: – Screening for DementiaBrief assessments for memory and other cognitive complaints Differentiate Alzheimer’s Dementia and Vascular dementia from other types of dementiaManagement of dementiaMonitor clinical status during follow upsPrescribing medications for DementiaAssess and manage associated behavioural symptoms Diagnose and resolve deliriumTimely Referral to specialistsPrevention of dementia in high-risk patients |
