Brief Description of the CourseThis is an online program designed to enhance theoretical and practical knowledge of providing first level mental health service in the community. The course deals with topics that help in screening for and identifying mental health problems in adults and children, and understand factors influencing them; understanding the management options for mental health problems; conducting first level psychosocial interventions for mental health problems; and making decisions about the type and level of mental health problems that can be managed by themselves and makeappropriate referrals to Mental Health Professionals and other health professionals as required.
