FeesThere is no fee for the trainee. This course is currently being offered only on request from the state government and is being run only for MBBS doctors serving in the Govt. sector. The training costs are being absorbed by the sponsoring Govt.
Brief Description of the CourseThis program is an intensive training & mentoring course specially for MBBS medical officers working in prison settings. The syllabus encompasses information pertaining to the screening, identification, treatment & follow up  of mental disorders which are prevalent in the prison setup. This course also covers legal aspects, rehabilitative aspects pertinent to prison mental health care. There is also a component of long term continued support for difficult cases post completion of the course.
