Brief Description of the Course | The Police Well-being Programme is based on the MoU between Government of Tamil Nadu, Police Department and NIMHANS, Bengaluru. Diploma in Psychological Well-Being (DPW) course is to enhance the understanding of the concept of well-being for police personnel, stress experienced in various spheres of life among police personnel and strategies to manage stress effectively. The Diploma is also a stepping stone for the institutionalization of the programme where the trained manpower would be earmarked for rendering police welfare-related services in the respective Districts and Commissionerates |
