The Department of Psychiatry started the Forensic Psychiatry Services in the year 2015 at NIMHANS with an vision to start Centre for Forensic Psychiatry. The Forensic team consists of six psychiatry consultants with immense experience in the field, one post-doctoral fellow, one senior resident and two junior resident. The team has provided Forensic Psychiatry Services to both in-patients and out-patients along with research and academic activities for the further development of the services..
