TORENT is an initiative to provide training to Regional Health Officers (RHOs) of Chhattisgarh in identification and referral of general population and special population (children/adolescents/geriatric population/perinatal women) with mental health issues. It includes screening common mental health issues, implementing brief counselling interventions, liaison, referrals, reducing stigma in addition to continued handling and training through tele-mentoring program services. This project commenced from January 2021. The training is being conducted block wise of respective districts and each block is considered as one batch. The training is conducted online which includes both basic and advanced concepts (12 session each).
