NIMHANS in collaboration with the government of Bihar empowering DMHP services across the state since 2017. In 2020-21, the DPCP was implemented in which 22 PCDs were enrolled under the project. 12 PCDs successfully completed the course and were certified at the graduation ceremony held at AIIMS, Patna in March, 2021. 2^nd batch of 10 PCDs were enrolled subsequently after a fruitful run over…A parallel concurrent primary care psychiatry program has been initiated in March 2021 wherein 18 nurses have been enrolled in “One Year Online Training and Mentoring Program in Primary Care psychiatry for Nurses” from various districts of the State. More than 2,800 psychiatric consultations are reported by them, till Nov 2020.
